OUR SCHOOL

Libermann Pre and Primary Catholic School in Kipawa is operated in the tradition of the Holy Ghost Fathers who have ministered to Tanzania since 1868.

Holy Ghost Fathers (Spiritans) view education as vital in all their ministries. Basic education is the first step out of poverty and toward the Gospel. We educate youth to take them out of the cycle of crime, drugs and unemployment, and to offer a positive pathway to breaking down the digital divide enhancing greater equality of oppportunity for children living in an economically impoverished part of Dar es Salaam..

Consequently learning at Kipawa Libermann Catholic School is a priority due to the holistic knowledge, skills, spirituality and values students acquire.

Children come to our school in order to be taught how to develop skills of learning and to cultivate the culture of learning in order to develop a lifelong love of learning. The knowledge skills, values they gain here in the supportive learning environment of Kipawa Libermann, will empower them to continue their learning journey long after they left Kipawa Libermann doors.
And in the future we hope that they will achieve our main goal as expressed in our school motto “Education is key to integral development". It is through two guiding principles that we are able to offer the learning environment to our children, that is, we are guided by our  mission.

Please contact us if we can be of service to you.
